offer both computer technical support services, and Geographic Information Systems based project management.

3. Additional services ($1 - purchase additional time in quantity of dollars).

Teamviewer may be used to allow me remote access to both Macs and PCs able to boot up that need service from further locations.
Foreign (to the United States) service with the credit cards supported is available, though rates will have to cover currency exchange on both ends. I can do both video Facetime and Skype communicate and Microsoft Remote Desktop computer access.
I have a section for reviews of my work at the end of this page.
My website consists both personal favorite links, which may be navigated through the left sidebar,
and reference links I have offered my clients in helping them understand their computers.
Primarily Apple Macintosh computers have been serviced, though recently I have expanded my services into repairing PCs, replacing motherboards, LCD screens,
and power supplies. I have also diagnosed malware, registry, fragmentation, and recovered information from boot sector damaged drives as well as offered consultation
on finding the best economical PCs. All my services are available both locally on Cape Cod, and via remote Teamviewer control of remote PCs.
I have also provided a wealth of Apple Support Communities User Tips to help users on Apple Inc's own website.
Repair services include out of warranty installation of hard drives, RAM, PRAM batteries, data translation of spreadsheet, word processing, database, image formats, and software repair of directories. Services include data recovery to the maximum extent allowed by the fees ( DriveSavers offers a much more thorough recovery process for thousands of dollars when hardware is at issue, though we can at least isolate if it is an issue), installation of video cards on Macs that support self installed cards, and discovering if unessential software is installed on your Mac, and/or compatibility issues of software installed. Data can be backed up as a clone, or setup for Time Machine. Data recovery will be best effort. No guarantees are made. I also offer in house testing services for Intel Mac OS X 10.4.11, 10.5.8, 10.6.8, 10.7.5, 10.8.5, 10.9.5, 10.10.5, 10.11.4 applications and drivers.

Reviews from my freelance support and references
Abraham Brody was able to solve a problem with my iMAC that a senior advisor at Apple Care did not. For years I had uploaded images from my digital camera by putting a 512MB Sandisk into a Sandisk MobileMate device that I inserted into a USB port on my iMac. When that Sandisk failed I tried the same procedure with a new 8GB Sandisk but my iMac refused to recognize the MobileMate.
After a fruitless search on the Internet, I spent over two hours with Apple Care on the problem but we failed to fix it. (In fairness to Apple Care they did clean up a mess on my computer created by the scam product MacCleaner.)
I then turned to Abraham for help. When he saw my machine he immediately pointed to a slot that accepted my Sandisk. Presto! Pictures right away. Falmouth MA.
Abraham was not only professional in showing up on time for our appointment, but he was very knowledgeable and diligent in his work taking care of a few issues with our Apple computer, printer set up, re-establishing email connections, etc. His knowledge is the key as he can get the job done correctly and efficiently. Many times in my early mac years I was saved and my computer and data restored to pristine condition by the diligence of Abraham; in reinstalling operating systems; and diagnosing the various issues that may affect a Mac at one time or another. Highly recommended; highly knowledgable. His credo: Back up, Back up, Back up.
Abe is a competent MAC expert. I worked with Abe for the FAA and can attest to his expertise!
I would like to thank you very much for promptly and efficiently identifying the problem my wife had with her IMAC, and finding a way to get it going again without introducing new problems or having to purchase a new set of programs. My wife owns a mid-2007 IMAC with one GB of RAM originally installed. For some time she had been having trouble with slow processing and frequent crashes when she was online using our Comcast WIFI connection. Then, quite suddenly, she ceased being able to connect at all to the internet. I was impressed with your ability to identify that the problem was Comcast's decision to drop support for the version of the MAC operating system she was using. The solution you came up with, and which you had the tools on hand to implement, was to upgrade the MAC operating system to a level that was still supported by Comcast. Together with cleaning the machine of accumulated garbage, and your recommendation that I use the two 1 GB RAM chips I had replaced with two 2 GB RAM chips in my own mid-2007 IMAC to give her more power, she ended up with a smoothly functioning machine with a good connection to the internet through Comcast. And you were able to do all of this in a single session. You made it possible for us to extend the life of this old machine at a very reasonable cost. I look forward to using your expertise to continue to maintain our machines, Bourne MA
Abe has been a computer Mac and Windows expert since the 80s and knows the insides of a computer better than anyone I know...
My I MAC was recently hacked with a virus and I needed someone who knew what they were doing to fix it. I called Abraham and he came right away to my home. Abraham was prompt, diagnosed my problem very quickly and proceeded to clean and restore my computer to it's normal working condition. All this was accomplished in about 50 minutes. I found his fee to be reasonable and his knowledge very keen. Abraham is a very polite, cheerful person who knows his job, very professional! He's the man for the job! - Falmouth, MA
Checking my calendar this morning, skillfully thanks to you, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your patience in out tutoring session. You're a born teacher... thank you, thank you
Abe - thank you very much for getting us straightened out with our computer, I-pad, and I-phones and most importantly, getting them to work together as they should. We appreciated your patience and your willingness to explain the things we were confused about - some of which were surprisingly simple. - Bourne MA, Jane
I have an IMac computer which I use for graphics, word processing and for creating teaching materials, as well as for home use. I have had problems with it running slow and with setting up a storage drive to archive my files. Abraham did a great job of reviewing all the applications on the hard drive and making a list of unneeded files and redundancies to free it up and run better. He was able to get my storage drive running and set up regular back-ups. He also did general trouble-shooting to prevent future problems. I appreciate that Abe explained the problems to me and demystified some of the issues. He taught me strategies to maintain my system and maintain files and back-ups. I would definitely call on him again if I have computer problems and I recommend him highly for tech support. - Mashpee, MA
